DUALEM CONDUCTIVITY METER HIRE/RENTAL

The DUALEM-42 has dual-geometry receivers at separations of 4- and 2-m from the transmitter, which provide simultaneous 1-, 2-, 3- and 6-m depths of conductivity sounding, four simultaneous depths of susceptibility sounding, and detection of metal.

The several sounding-depths of the DUALEM-42 enable the analysis of layering in the top several metres of the earth. DualEM or Dual conductivity instruments are now available for rent or hire from MALA GPR Australia. You can use the DualEM on very diverse targets such as

Contaminated land
Landfills
Underground Storage Tanks (USTs)
NAPL spills

Note from the developer

"I have updated Duupload5. It will now upload data from instruments that start up in auto NMEA mode--a bug prevented this in the past. The order of the command line arguments is now irrelevant--you can type "DUUPLOAD5 COM1 G" or "DUUPLOAD5 G COM1" or "DUUPLOAD5 38400 G COM1" and get the same results. It will output multiple file types in one run (eg Geosoft XYZ, unlabelled X yz, P pm and L og formats--the default is XYZ by just combining the file type labels in the command line, ie "DUUPLOAD5 COM1 GPL". Case does not matter in the command line. You can also add a height to the PPM type file by adding a fourth argument, eg "DUUPLOAD5 COM1 p .33" will set the sensor height as 0.33m--this is
then confirmed during the program run."

"The default command line parameters are XYZ file output, COM1 serial port and 57600. These are the parameters you will get if you just type DUUPLOAD5 by itself in a command window (with the .exe file either in the same folder or in the path). The default output filename is Default.xyz.

"DUUPLOAD5 v1.18 also has more verbose and informative responses and error messages, with more suggestions as to how to correct error situations. I've tested it as carefully as I can in the time available, and suggest that you give it a try, reading the messages that it outputs carefully, as many have changed. Finally, it is easier to use by just clicking on the executable file (or a shortcut on the desktop) now than previously."
