The MSS range of fiberglass rod is not pultruded like others. It is produced instead using a proprietary process where glass fibers are strictly unidirectional with optimal fiber density of 80%. 

The fibers are fully impregnated in resin and then bi-axially wound with hi-strength filaments before being completely enbedded in the yellow polypropylene thermoplastic jacket.  
This gives the rod an excellent handling characteristics throughout its long life without protruding reinforcement fibers that can appear over time in other rods. 

Each rod has a copper trace wire running through the core allowing for underground cable and conduit locating. The rod is supplied complete with brass male ends and hauling eyes fitted to a sturdy Australian made zinc plated steel frame. Refill coils are also available for all size rods.
